The album “Sleep” by Mortuus Auris & The Black Hand (a project of Peter Taylor), released on Stunned Records on October 2010, begins with crystallized, fine-grained gentle drones of the track “Drift”, which resemble some molecular movements inside the universal Substance; after the half of the piece passes, it changes into some piano tints, which later come to stable fragrant layer of sound with some elements of reversed structure. Then comes “Doze”, a damped and silent part of the album, crowned by light, tender ambient melody. “Deeply”, as if continuing the line of “Doze”, with its a little bit exalted chords, makes the final brush strokes in this sonic canvas. So, have some “Sleep” with Mortuus Auris and The Black Hand.
